Yesterday was my 9mth assessment at the Polyclinic and I passed my hearing test with flying colours! The nurse says this is the most difficult part of the assessment cos if babies are fussy and they don't react to the test than they need to come back for re-test. Phew lucky its early in the day and I jus had my milk and have enuf zzz.
I was made to sit on grandma's lap facing the wall, the nurse distracted me with a funny lil toy so that i will face forward throughout the test, she than waves the hearing gadget behind my ear one side at a time. I was cooperative and each time i would turned toward the correct side where the sound was. After dat the nurse assessed my motor skills. She made sure I cld sit up on my own, stand on my own wif support for 5 secs and grab objects and transfer it from one hand to the other. Anyway I'm 90%centile for wt; 50% for ht; and 75% head cir. Nurse says good and steady growth but abit on chubby side la. Hee...
Next up will be MMR jab after 15mths old.
