Happy 19 mths Old

Today I turn 19 mths old...

I'm getting more attach to my parents and I'm getting more and more "vocal" in trying to get peoples attention as well as to what i want. Anyways think its also the time where most kids my age start behaving more demanding in trying to assert our way. But I'm still not saying any proper words yet.

I've started attending mandarin playgroup once a week. So far I'm still not very attentive during lesson-walking here and there, and I'm not keen in doing art& craft, but when it comes to music and reading time I show my utmost attention. I probably need some time to get use to the routine of the lesson than will I show interest.

I've started to do more pretend play by feeding water or food to my stuff toys, taking the broom to sweep and cloth to wipe the table.

Mummy has also started to give me os food on a few occasions so that I can slowly transit to taking the same meals as them by about 2 years old and by than most of my teeth should be all out. I enjoy eating the same food as the adults and seem to have not much problems adapting to their food. Bringing me out is beginning to be slightly easier...

Oh and my folks have also started placing me in my car seat independently, cos in the past mummy would accompany me behind but lately she has decided that I'm old enough to sit in the back seat on my own- think she was encouraged by my good behaviour last sat when she drove me to class on her own and I was an angel all the time. And so far so good, I have been ok on my own behind their backs hee hee...

And I love to show my affection towards my parents and grandma by hugging their heads tightly so our faces are close to each other and than giggle and smell them. MaMa was also glad that I am also close to Papa cos I was starting to miss him during his 1 week work trip in KL and was calling out for him occasionally, and I was indeed very happy to see him and greet him when he came home - cos afterall he's my playmate!!

That's about it, think its quite alot of progress for a Little gal like me
