Hot Hot Nite

Last monday I had my 2nd immunization jab and all was well till evening when I started to feel feverish. Mummy was back home by than and she measured my temperature - boy was I hot at over 39. Mummy immediately fed me my paracetemol which smells like strawberry syrup. I felt tired but the fever made me so uncomfy that I jus couldnt sleep on my own. Mummy & daddy took turns to cuddle me throughout the nite as my temperature when up & down. At times I started to shiver and jolt when they placed me down to rest on my own so mummy held my hands to sleep jus to reassure me that she was there for me.

By morning I was still having fever and it only subsided in the afternoon. To bring my fever down mummy made sure I had extra fluids and placed a cold pack on my forehead hoping to make me feel better- i guess it did cool me abit. Although I was feverish I was still able to drink my milk and even play and smile... tho I tink I made everyone at home worried and totally shacked out... especially mummy and grandma.

Hmm.. my last round of jab will be in 1.5 mths time I pray I dun have an adverse reaction!
