Participated in my first ever walk barefooted on 18 Jun 2011. The event took place at Gardens by the Bay which has not been officially open yet, as such we got a glimpse of the park. Weather was cooling and cloudy that morning - which made the 2.4KM walk a really pleasant one!
I completed the walk but with much protest... I had to be coax and bribed with drinks and raisins. I walked on my own with lots of photo stops during the start but at the halfway mark Mummy and Ah Yee had to take turns to carry me cos I refuse to continue walking, while I finished the last quarter of the walk myself after mummy mentioned about pop corn and facepainting. At the end of the walk was a mini carnival where I eagerly waited for my turn at the face painting station, and to my delight chose the rainbow and stars design. I also had popcorn to reward my tired little soles. ![]()
