Bronchitis Day 4-5

My fever manage to subside on Sat am and throughout the day. I've started to refuse my milk and only took my solids but in small portions. The sight of the medicine makes me cry and its created so much phobia that I refuse to open my mouth. So mummy has to force feed me each time & I would cry so hard until now my voice is a bit hoarse. The bitterness of the medicine makes me dislike taking medicine and now I even develop a phobia if i see anything clear/white on my spoon. I used to be easy with everything my parents feed me but now I've become really wary. Anyway my fever came back sat nite & I'm still coughing wif lots of phlegm.

Mummy has bunked in wif me for now. I would sleep for a few hrs than cough, toss and turn & cry and mummy will pat me back. Its a few rounds of that before morning hits. Mummy is totally tired out and heart pained.

This am I refused my milk again, I'm also taking less food as well, jus no appetite. I'm also more tried and need more rest. We went back to see the PD again cos my fever came back, PD says I prob caught the virus again cos yesterday my fever wen away & today its back. But since its day 4 of my fever, he says he'll need to do a blood test. I cried buckets when he tried to draw blood fr my hands, cos he couldn't find a visible vein. Papa and mummy kept comforting me but its all too painful. After dat I was tired out and zzz on papa's shoulder when we reached home.


Papa cooked porridge for me while mummy watched over me. I woke up and had a few mouthfuls of the porridge. After dat I had to take my anti-biotics and it was a struggle again. Tired out I zzz again after taking the medicine. I still had fever which was rather high at 38.7 and to make me feel more comfy I was given paracetamol. I zzz again..


The fever still lingered throughout the rest of the nite. Papa decided to sleep wif me and monitor my temperature and make sure I had lots and lots of water so that my temp will go down, while mummy had her turn of rest.

I was really lethargic today, and slept most of the time. Its the first time I've been so"sedated" in my entire 11 mths. I'm really sick this time...
