Bronchitis Day 1-3

I'm sick again... I suddenly developed high fever during the wee hrs of wed am. Mummy found it strange that when she pat me I was abit jerky when she checked my temp, it was 37.5 so she decided to monitor me and zzz in my room. An hr later she checked on me and my temp had soared to 39.4 mummy was alarmed and quickly called papa to give me a dose of paracetemol to bring the fever down. Luckily after dat my temp when back down, but it still lingered thru the day. We tot it was teething fever again as I was still playing and eating. The fever still lingered..

Thurs am I started coughing and coughed so hard that my milk came out, mummy was worried so she decided to check if the PD was open. Unfortunately the Dr Heng's clinic was close on thurs nites so we decided to see another PD, Dr lau. Dr Lau saw me and said I was alert and active but I had develop Bronchitis- an infection or inflammation of the large air passages to the lungs. Where the the airways become swollen, inflamed, and partly blocked with mucus. He precribed me anti-biotic, and 2 other types of medicine. He told mummy & daddy to monitor my fever, dat it shd go off by 2 days if not we need to call him. He wans to monitor me so that the infection does not worsen and turn to pneumonia, so we'll see him on Monday again.

This am I cried while taking my medicine and after my first dose of anti-biotic I coughed again and milk came out once again. After breakfast, I coughed out my breakfast too. I think the food irritates my throat. Anyway mummy measured my temp and its still at 38 we decided not to take too much paracetamol & instead monitor my temp and take only if my fever shoots up.

When I'm sick I get all cranky and whiny. I cry more than usual and feel so irritable...hope i get well soon. Shoo Shoo fever & cough!!

Tomorrow I have my birthday party not sure if I can still attend.
