Taiwan Day 3 - Leofoo Water Themepark

At the request of Hazel, who had been eyeing the place the day before, we brought them to the water park next to Leofoo Village Theme Park.  As a Leofoo Guanshi resort guest, we got a 15% discount for the water theme park tickets.  They are only open from Jun – Sep.  So we considered ourselves lucky as it coincided with the opening day for the summer vacation.  Leofoo Water Park, next to Leofoo Village Theme Park, has a Greek inspired atmosphere created by Greek architecture and surroundings. It’s the first waterslides in a height of 15 meters in Taiwan, and other 8 kinds of slides with fun, racing, single or dual slides with different features. In addition, there is a Wave pool, Water Cannon, Dancing Fountains, and attractions specially designed for family and children.  I’m most impressed by the level of cleanliness at the water park.  It was compulsory for everyone entering the pools to wear a swim cap and rides were closed at certain times for cleaning and checks!  Indeed the summer fun would not have been complete with some water splashing fun at the theme park.  My kids just loved the park and kept saying they want to come back again... Amenities at the park were adequate -there's ample shower facilities and 2 restaurants to cater to meal times.  We spent half the day there and set off for our farm experience at Miaoli only around 2pm.
