Jasper's 1st Day at School

My Little Baby Boy has officially started school. On 4 Feb 2013 we accompanied him to his nursery after he had his breakfast at home. When the school door opened, my dear son walked right in all excited carrying his school bag. He followed the teacher’s instruction and placed his bag and shoes on the shelves and went on to allow the teacher to check his temperature, mouth and hands… before I could say good bye to him he went in and sat down with the principal. The principal – Mrs Ang (very cheerful and helpful lady) got some books and asked him something of which I heard him pointing and saying –“there”. So after seeing how well he adjusted to the class, we left and came back 2 hrs later to pick him up. When he saw us through the window, he excitedly exclaimed to his teacher – “There’s Mummy and Daddy.” While his form teacher passed me his school communication handbook, she commented that he had no problems adapting to the environment. Phew… So far he has gone to school for 3 days and he is still very positive and happy about school.

I think we are very blessed to have both our kids going to school on Day 1 without any separation issues. Anyways I’m so proud of you - JJ.
